Home College Ministry
From its humble beginnings, River of Life Church has had a strong connection to college students. Students from Berea College, Eastern Kentucky University, and even from as far away as Asbury College in Wilmore, KY, make River of Life Church their “home away from home” each academic year. Through monthly “Ignite” services and college coffee houses, small group meetings on campus at Berea College, college lunches after church, one-on-one mentoring with adults and families, and getting college students involved in the various ministries at ROL, we seek to REACH, RAISE, and RELEASE young men and women to the place God has for them, not only during their tenure as a college/university student, but after graduation as well.
Here are some ways you can serve the Lord and the congregation at River of Life Church:
Life Groups
Build relationships, lead, and be discipled through small-groups, work as a child-care worker
Worship Ministry
Use your gifts in singing, playing an instrument, or operating multi-media or sound equipment
Storehouse Ministry
Feed the hungry and minister to the needy
College Ministry
Minister at a college-student led worship night; lead a bible study on campus
Children's Ministry
Teach a class or help in the nursery
Youth Ministry
Be a mentor for a teen in Bible Study, worship, or drama
Latino Ministry
Be a van driver or help with translating for Hispanic believers and seekers
Hospitality Services
Help the church by greeting and ushering
